Synopsis
This three day course will cover the Eagle Quantum Premier System hardware, software, configuration, logic programming, troubleshooting, maintenance and design practices. This course does not apply to other standard flame and gas detection systems.
Who Should Attend
This class is designed for system integrating engineers, designers and maintenance personnel.
Objectives
- Identify compatible components of an EQP System.
- Understand terminology associated with an EQP system.
- Wire and configure EQP system hardware components.
- Understand the function of the ports on the controller.
- Understand functions of the EQP System Controller.
- Program the controller with typical fire and gas detection schemes using S3 Logic.
- Understand the functional capabilities of the menu structure.
- Access point display information via the Safety System Software (S3).
- Calibrate and maintain EQP System compatible flame detectors, gas detectors, and other applicable system components.
- Troubleshoot the EQP System for faults, shorts and opens.
- Apply the appropriate input/output modules to connect various fire and gas system components and other compatible 3rd party devices.
