IntelliView Technologies Inc., a unique video surveillance technology company, has launched an application that enables petroleum companies to have video confirmation of all access control.

Calgary-based IntelliView has been creating and commercializing a unique integrated site management solution that has been specifically designed to meet the rising regulatory requirements in the oil and gas industry. Using video surveillance, operators will be able to see, record and review activities on their locations in order to meet the complex requirements for operations, security and safety.
IntelliView provides a patented self-contained hardware/software solution that gives companies access to their facilities 24/7 through a unique event-only notification video surveillance solution. The system is user-friendly, allowing clients to set user defined analytics to determine what they want to see.
The IntelliView software is located in a patented SmrtDVR that can connect to different types of cameras. The software converts the passive cameras into sensors since it is able to analyze the objects in the video to determine if an alarm has been triggered. Once an alarm has been triggered an event notification is sent via e-mail to the client through cellular, satellite or radio communications.
The object detection analytics in the SmrtDVR, known as Multi Object Flow Extraction Technology, is a unique IntelliView patented process solution. The SmrtDVR has been engineered to be located at the client’s site, significantly reducing operating costs associated with communications, power and IT infrastructure requirements.
Cansec’s SmartLock Pro access control system supports up to 2,000 users providing an audit trail capability. When linked with the IntelliView SmrtDVR, each entry will also have a visual confirmation record. The SmrtDVR provides visual verification of every access control event including cardholders who were granted access as well as for people who have been denied access. The SmrtDVR can also notify users through a BlackBerry application providing visual confirmation on the go.
